Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. seeks a Director/Senior Director, Industry Strategist to lead life sciences strategy within the Global Life Sciences Acceleration Hub.

You will combine deep industry insight with hands‑on implementation expertise, driving accelerators across Salesforce‑led and partner programs and shaping GTM playbooks and product direction. You will partner with product, engineering, CS, and sales to map processes to product capabilities, define customer personas, and escalate gaps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of life sciences/commercial pharma experience (12+ preferred for Senior Director).
• Extensive experience implementing CRM solutions in commercial pharma, or advising IT teams as a product owner or key stakeholder on CRM implementations.
• Ability to map ecosystem roles/personas to product and technical capabilities and identify capability gaps.
• Deep working knowledge of life sciences regulatory requirements and how they constrain or shape implementation approaches.
• Track record leading or advising implementation programs in a strategist, consulting, or product ownership capacity, ideally with prior people or program leadership experience.
• Experience coaching consultants, partners, or sales teams, and partnering with business value or value‑engineering functions to build outcome and measurement frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/forecasting tools a plus.
• Improved implementation velocity and success across SF‑led and partner ecosystem‑led programs.
• Recognized as a trusted, challenging industry voice internally, with customers, and externally in the market.

Responsibilities

• Set the industry point‑of‑view strategy on trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive positioning across life sciences ecosystem.
• Partner with product, engineering, customer success, and sales leadership to map customers' business processes and journeys against product capabilities.
• Map customer personas to product capabilities and define business processes for key personas like MSLs or FSRs.
• Coach partners and internal Salesforce consultants on industry best practices and enable sales teams to communicate value.
• Shape business value narratives with Business Value Services to measure customer outcomes post‑implementation.
• Connect customer insight to future product direction and influence the product roadmap.
• Contribute industry and implementation insight to global GTM strategy and educate Sales and Services teams.
• Represent the company as a thought leader through webinars, talks, and customer advisory boards.
• Own reporting on implementation velocity, accelerators adoption, and delivery insights across SF‑led and partner programs.
