Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Associate Director in Life Sciences to lead project teams and manage client relationships across pharma clients in the US. You will oversee work plans, staffing, budgets and deadlines while coaching staff and supporting business development.

The role requires 6+ years in pharma consulting, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to travel up to 30% nationally. An advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Science/biomedical/healthcare or business; advanced degree/PhD preferred.
• 6+ years consulting with pharma/biotech clients.
• Strong pharma industry knowledge including drug development and launch.
• Ability to analyze complex information and craft strategies.
• Experience advising executives on portfolio strategy and launches.
• Experience with market sizing, segmentation, forecasting and budgeting.
• Familiar with pharma datasets (CMS, EvaluatePharma, IQVIA, Veeva).
• Willing to travel to client sites in the US up to 30%.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage client relationships.

• Lead meetings and coach consultants; provide feedback.
• Collaborate with Directors/MDs; support sales and practice development.
