Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director-level consultant to lead life sciences projects in the Strategy & Transformation space. You will manage project plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets, while coaching staff and guiding client relationships.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related course of study, advanced degree/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 6+ years of prior relevant consulting or work experience with pharma/biotech clients.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
• Excellent communication skills to convey strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Must possess strong analytical skills (Excel, Access, etc.) and leverage analytic techniques to guide decisions.
• 5+ years of experience leading project engagements with planning, budgeting, and scope.
• 3+ years of formal management of team performance to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from cultivation to completion, leading the designated project team.
• Lead team meetings and coach staff consultants, providing feedback on project participation and career development.
• Collaborate with Directors and Managing Directors to keep them informed of progress and developments.
• Take part in sales initiatives and practice development.
• Travel to client sites across the US, up to 30%.
