Job summary
Guidehouse in New York is seeking an Associate Director in Life Sciences to lead project engagements, manage client relationships, and oversee budgets and staffing. You will guide staff and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver strategic solutions across pharmaceutical, biotech, and diagnostic clients.
Travel up to 30% nationwide is expected as part of project delivery and business development efforts.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field; advanced degree/PhD preferred.
- 6+ years of consulting or pharma/biotech experience with large/global clients.
- Strong pharma industry knowledge including drug development and launches.
- Analytics capability to inform strategy and client decisions.
- Experience advising senior pharma leaders on portfolio and commercialization strategies.
- Experience with market sizing, segmentation, forecasting and branding activities.
- Familiarity with pharma datasets and related analytics tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation to completion, managing work plans, staffing, timelines and budgets.
- Guide staff consultants, provide feedback and career development, and coordinate with Directors/MDs.
- Support sales initiatives and practice development; travel as required (up to 30%).
