Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work schedule.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally; 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on our donors, while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
