Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Deptford, NJ is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener to join our center operations. You will perform phlebotomy and donor screening, ensuring donor safety and accurate records under the supervision of the Plasma Center Manager.

You will greet donors, answer phones, and coordinate donor compensation while working varied shifts including weekends and holidays. The role emphasizes customer service and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk/stand for entire shift and work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogens.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally 32 lbs; up to 50 lbs rarely.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen donors, record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and coordinate compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve center processes using approved procedures.
• Support donors across shifts, including weekends and holidays.
