Job summary

BioLife in Deptford, NJ is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener/phlebotomist to support center operations. You will greet donors, screen for eligibility, collect high-quality plasma, and document donor information while ensuring safety and compassionate service.

You may work evenings, weekends, and holidays with shifts typically 4 to 6 hours. No prior lab background required, but customer-facing experience helps; training is provided and compensation includes a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while ensuring donor safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System and prepare donor charts.
• Coordinate donor compensation and maintain accurate records.
• Support center processes and propose improvements as needed.
