Job summary

Johnson Controls in Williston, VT is seeking a Life Safety Systems Sales Representative, Electronic to promote and sell fire safety solutions to contractors and end users within an assigned territory. You will establish contact, qualify buyers, and develop a strategic plan to grow accounts.

You will lead seminars, prepare proposals, and present compelling financial justifications to close deals, delivering on quota with support from district operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years successful sales experience in Electronic Systems or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Fire Safety/Fire Alarm Systems to contractors and end users in assigned territory.
• Schedule sales calls, follow up on leads, and use Johnson Controls marketing strategies.
• Develop sales strategies and maintain territory records.
• Prepare proposals, give presentations, and perform follow-up to close sales.
• Report progress and metrics to operations and corporate teams weekly.
