Johnson Controls is seeking a Life Safety Preventive Service Sales Executive in Colorado to promote and sell service agreements for fire alarm, sprinkler, and inspection across commercial buildings. You will drive territory growth, manage accounts, and meet financial targets while leveraging our sales processes.

The role requires strong presentation skills, technical aptitude, and familiarity with sales methodologies.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education
• Aptitude for technical knowledge with high level of attention to detail
• Enviable presentation skills for individual and group communications
• Selling of "service" and intangibles
• Exposure to sales methodologies, standards, and disciplines
• 2-3 previous progressive sales roles preferred
• Knowledge of fire and life safety industry
• Knowledge and experience in SalesForce.com
• Knowledge and exposure to Acclivus training and methodologies

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell service agreements (Preventative Maintenance Agreements) for commercial building systems including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, and inspection
• Meet and exceed financial targets with adherence to predefined metrics
• Demonstrate knowledge of each stage of the sales cycle and process
• Prove-able sales results including acquisition, organic growth and retention
• Maintain territory management and strategic thinking
• Nurture internal and external relationships
• Embrace new tools, methods and ideas
• Pursue self and team development and add value in a dynamic sales environment
