Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents' quality of life through meaningful activities and programs. The role partners with residents, families, and staff to plan experiences that reflect residents' interests and life stories, promoting health, purpose, and joy.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, updating Life Stories, assisting with attendance, and participating in ongoing education and team initiatives within the Cedarhurst community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web platforms, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, holidays, and special events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decoration displays for the community.
• Contribute to resident assessments by assisting with Life Stories.
• Assist in taking activity attendance and family messaging in Cedarhurst’s electronic platform.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with residents’ families regarding care and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and management; participate in conflict resolution as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
