Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents' quality of life through meaningful activities, events, and social engagement. You will partner with residents, families, and staff to tailor programs to interests and life stories, promoting health, purpose, and joy within the community.

The role involves planning and facilitating programs, coordinating decorations, and contributing to assessments, with ongoing training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and EHR/HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and lead community activities and events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Assist with holiday decorations and community celebrations.
• Support Life Story assessments and family communications.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families about care and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with team and management, resolve conflicts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
