Cedarhurst Living in Waterloo, IL is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents' quality of life through meaningful activities and experiences. You will plan and lead events, coordinate holiday displays, and collaborate with families and staff to reflect resident interests and life stories.

The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and ongoing engagement with residents, families, and the community team, while supporting health, purpose, and joy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver license and ability to obtain bus license within 30 days.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital health records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling and leading community activities programs, holiday celebrations and special events.
• Introduce new residents and families to the community’s life enrichment programs.
• Assist in coordinating holiday decoration displays for the community.
• Contribute to resident assessments by assisting in completing Life Stories.
• Assist in taking activity attendance and completing family messaging in Cedarhurst’s electronic platform.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings provided by Home Office Support.
• Drive community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with residents’ families about care and wellbeing.
