Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents’ quality of life through engaging activities, events and experiences. You will collaborate with families, residents and staff to reflect interests, life stories and wellbeing in a comprehensive program.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and leading activities, assisting new residents, and supporting enrichment goals while promoting a caring, inclusive community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, events and holiday celebrations.
• Introduce new residents to life enrichment programs and assist with decorations.
• Assist in completing Life Stories and track activity attendance for families.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings and coordinate family communications.
• Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure resident wellbeing and program quality.
• Respect resident life stories and reflect interests in programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
