Job summary

Cedarhurst Living seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents' quality of life by developing and overseeing a comprehensive program of activities and experiences.

The role partners with residents, families, and staff to ensure programs reflect interests, abilities, and life stories, promoting health, purpose, and joy in a supportive community. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver's license to drive the community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web platforms, and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead community activities, events, and holidays.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Assist with Life Stories and resident assessments as needed.
• Document activity attendance and family communications in Cedarhurst’s systems.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with staff and families to support residents’ wellbeing.
