Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive life enrichment program that enhances residents' social engagement, physical and cognitive well-being through meaningful activities and experiences.

This role reports to the Life Enrichment Director and partners with residents, families, and staff to reflect interests and life stories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred and encouraged.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and health record systems is expected.
• Familiarity with web-based platforms and HR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and lead community activities and events.
• Welcome new residents and families to the program.
• Assist with holiday decorations and community displays.
• Support Life Story assessments with residents and families.
• Maintain activity attendance and family communications in Cedarhurst's system.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with families about residents’ wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and management, taking initiative as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
