Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to enhance residents' quality of life by planning and overseeing engaging activities and events. The role partners with residents, families, and staff to reflect residents' interests and life stories while promoting health, purpose, and joy.

Responsibilities include planning events, supporting assessments, and coordinating activities and community programs, with occasional bus driving for outings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, programs, holidays and events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment programs.
• Coordinate holiday decorations for the community.
• Support Life Stories documentation for resident assessments.
• Record activity attendance and communicate updates to families via Cedarhurst’s electronic platform.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings.
• Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with residents’ families regarding care and well-being.
• Collaborate with team, take direction from management, and handle conflict when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
