Hcshiring in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Life Engagement Assistant to help create engaging activities for residents. Your enthusiasm will spark daily adventures and support a vibrant, compassionate community.

Working with the Life Engagement Manager, you will develop activity plans that nurture mind, body, and spirit, and encourage residents to participate in events both inside and outside the community. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, experience with the elderly, and a valid

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors and coordinating activities.
• First Aid Certification and driving responsibilities may apply.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Life Engagement Manager to establish a program of activities that stimulates the mind, body, and soul.
• Foster a positive atmosphere with leisure activities that cater to the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, and social needs of our residents, both within and outside the Community.
• Promote residents’ attendance at events and activities.
• Assist in preparation of activity calendar and input of newsletter.
• Conduct activity programs as assigned.
• Drive community van and bus as needed.
• Assist with decorations for holidays and special occasions.
• Assist residents with gardening projects.
• Arrange for appropriate spiritual activities as reflected by resident preferences.
