Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. seeks a Life Engagement Assistant to support the Life Engagement Coordinator in creating and delivering ASE programs, focusing on wellness, mindfulness, and hospitality.

Your role ensures residents experience meaningful engagement tailored to their histories and preferences. You will work with residents across cognitive levels, applying Montessori principles and person-centered living to foster body, mind, and spirit balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment).
• Current or eligible for certification in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events, providing residents with Acts Signature Experience (ASE).
• Ensure activities support body, mind, and spirit and align with Montessori principles and My Story preferences.
• Provide meaningful engagement opportunities for residents across cognitive and functional levels.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

One year activities/recreation experience
