Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Life Engagement Assistant to support the Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and delivering activities that enhance resident wellness and living experiences. The role emphasizes body, mind, and spirit through ASE-inspired programs and person-centered hospitality.

Responsibilities include enabling engagement for residents across cognitive levels, using Montessori-inspired methods, and honoring personal histories to foster meaningful daily activities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment).
• Current CPR certification or eligible for certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events for residents.
• Incorporate ASE elements focusing on body, mind, and spirit through Montessori-based engagement.
• Ensure residents of differing cognitive and functional levels have meaningful engagement opportunities.
