Legend Senior Living in Mansfield, TX is looking for a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging Resident activities and events. You will work with residents to create meaningful experiences and contribute to a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications include a current valid driver’s license, willingness to transport residents, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior experience with seniors and event planning is preferred; the role may require evenings or

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills.
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
