Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is hiring a Life Engagement Assistant to support planning and implementing ASE programs for residents. The role focuses on wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality, aligning activities with Montessori-inspired engagement principles.

You will help ensure meaningful engagement for residents across cognitive and functional levels, creating programs based on personal history and preferences while collaborating with the Life Engagement team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification (or willing to obtain within one year of employment).
• Current or eligible for certification in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events for residents.
• Provide residents with ASE experiences that balance body, mind, and spirit.
• Ensure engagement opportunities are meaningful for residents with varying cognitive and functional levels.
