Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents, fostering social interaction and holistic wellness. The role involves coordinating calendars, budgeting, and collaborating with external partners to create meaningful programs.

You will support residents through creative activities, supervise enrichment components as needed, and assist with transportation to events using the company vehicle when required.

Qualifications

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care) as assigned
• Coordinate transportation of residents to outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
