Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Life Engagement Assistant to support planning and delivering programs that enrich residents’ daily lives. You will help implement the Acts Signature Experience (ASE) emphasizing wellness, person-centered living and hospitality.

In this role you’ll ensure meaningful engagement for residents of varying cognitive and functional levels, guided by Montessori-inspired principles and personal history in My Story.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• CPR certification or eligible for certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events.
• Provide residents with Acts Signature Experience focusing on wellness, mind, body and spirit.
• Ensure engagement opportunities for residents across cognitive and functional levels.
