Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Chesapeake, Virginia, is seeking an Life Enrichment Activities Assistant (full-time) to support the Life Enrichment Director. You will design, implement, and facilitate a wide range of meaningful activities for Independent Living and Assisted Living residents, leading 6–7 programs daily and coordinating with the team to plan monthly calendars and events.

High School Diploma and/or experience; 1-3 years desired.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be in good physical condition and able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist Life Enrichment Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating and implementing a wide variety of programs for IL and AL neighborhoods.
Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
Survey residents to determine interests and satisfaction with activities and programs.
Coordinate with the program team to plan calendars, events, and outings for the upcoming month.
Assist in organizing, transporting residents for activities and off-site outings.
