Harmony Senior Services in Roanoke, VA seeks a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating, and implementing a wide variety of meaningful recreational and educational programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods.

You will help plan monthly calendars, lead 6–7 programs daily, recruit volunteers, coordinate with staff, document activities, and assist residents’ transportation to events, ensuring

• High School Diploma or equivalent; state requirements may apply.
• Ability to plan engaging programs for seniors and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to coordinate with a team and volunteers.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing and implementing a monthly activity program across IL and AL.
• Lead 6–7 high quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to tailor activities to interests and wellness dimensions.
• Coordinate calendars, supplies, and events with the program team.
• Develop relationships with residents and families to encourage participation.
• Assist in documenting records and organizing resident council meetings.
• Recruit and oversee a robust volunteer program.
• Assist with promoting programs via notices and posters.
• Help arrange spaces and transport residents for activities and outings.
