Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in creating, implementing, and delivering a wide range of recreational and educational programs for IL and AL neighborhoods. The role involves planning monthly activities aligned with wellness concepts and coordinating with the program team to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or experience; state requirements apply; entry level position with 1-3 years experience desired.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging and passionate about working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to complete the Resident Life Profile and determine interests/talents.
• Coordinate with the program team to plan calendars, events, and outings for the month.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a robust volunteer program.
• Promote programs by posting daily notices and posters.
• Assist in transporting residents to groceries, shopping, and activities; occasional physician trips.
