Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Charleston, West Virginia, is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing and delivering engaging programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living residents.

You will plan monthly activities across wellness dimensions, lead several programs daily, and collaborate with the team to promote resident participation and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Experience planning programs and activities for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing a monthly activity program based on wellness dimensions.
• Lead 6–7 high quality programs per day and coordinate with the program team.
• Survey residents to tailor activities and measure satisfaction.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers to support programming.
• Document records and help organize activity spaces and transport as needed.
