Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is looking for a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, implementing, and facilitating diverse programs for our Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods. You will help develop monthly activity calendars based on resident interests.

You will lead 6–7 high-quality programs per day, coordinate with the team and volunteers, promote activities with notices and posters, arrange spaces and equipment, and assist

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging with a passion for seniors.
• Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Life Enrichment Director in designing, implementing, and facilitating a wide variety of programs for IL and AL residents.
• Lead 6–7 high-quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to tailor activities to interests and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the program team to plan calendars, events, and outings.
• Develop relationships with residents and families to promote participation and satisfaction.
• Assist in documenting records, organizing resident council meetings, and organizing programming areas and supplies.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a robust volunteer program.
• Promote programs with notices and posters; arrange chairs, tables, and equipment.
• Assist in resident transportation to activities and occasional off-site outings.
