Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to design, implement and coordinate diverse activities for Independent Living and Assisted Living residents. You will support the Life Enrichment Director, develop monthly calendars, and lead 6–7 programs daily while coordinating with the program team and volunteers.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in activities/programs preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activity.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities.

Responsibilities

• Support Life Enrichment Director in designing, creating, initiating and implementing a wide variety of recreational and educational programs.
• Develop monthly activity calendars based on wellness dimensions and Harmony signature programs.
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day and coordinate with the program team.
• Recruit, coordinate and oversee a volunteer program and promote programs through notices and posters.
• Organize, maintain and stage programming areas and supplies; assist with resident transportation when needed.
