Job summary

State of Washington Dept. of Licensing is seeking a Licensing Services Representative (LSR2) for the Everett Driver Licensing Office. The role emphasizes accurate licensing, customer service, and in-person interaction with applicants in Everett, Monday–Friday.

New hires receive extensive training and may be eligible for a salary increase after certification. This is a non-permanent, on-site position requiring U.S. citizenship and a WA driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct customer service experience.
• One year of experience using electronic systems and form templates.
• Typing speed of 30 wpm or greater.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Valid WA driver license with five years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify authenticity of documents, evaluate information, and issue licenses/IDs in compliance with laws and procedures.
• Perform final review of enhanced licenses and IDs to determine eligibility.
• Collect licensing fees.
• Approve or deny enhanced applications and issue EDl/EID to eligible applicants.
• Use sound judgment to assess customer qualifications for licensing issuance.
• Travel to other offices and training as needed.
• Conduct driving skills tests in applicant's vehicle to assess driving ability.
