Job summary

State of Washington's Department of Licensing is seeking a Licensing Services Representative (LSR2) for Poulsbo. This in-person role operates Tuesday through Saturday, following extensive training to confidently issue driver licenses, enhanced driver licenses, and identification cards.

You will verify documents, collect licensing fees, and determine applicant eligibility while upholding agency values of respect, trust, diversity, equity, and inclusion, with opportunities to travel for coverage

Qualifications

Two years of direct customer service work experience providing product/services to the public.
One year of experience using electronic systems and form templates to input data, navigate between forms and screens.
Typing speed of 30 wpm or greater.

Responsibilities

Verify authenticity of documents, evaluate information, and issue licenses/IDs in compliance with laws.
Perform final review of enhanced driver license applications to determine eligibility.
Collect licensing fees and issue federally-approved IDs to eligible applicants.
Use sound judgement to assess customer qualifications for licensing issuance.
Travel to other offices and training as needed.
Conduct driving skills tests during applicant vehicle rides.
