Job summary

The State of Washington Department of Licensing is seeking a Licensing Services Representative (LSR2) to support the Poulsbo Driver Licensing Office. The role emphasizes in-person customer service, accurate data entry, and accurate licensing issuance in a fast-paced public service setting.

Responsibilities include reviewing EDL/EID applications, collecting fees, issuing licenses, and traveling to other offices for coverage.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct customer service experience providing products/services to the public.
• Typing speed 30 wpm or greater.
• Ability to input data and navigate multiple forms using electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify documents, evaluate information, and decide licensing eligibility in accordance with laws and procedures.
• Review enhanced license/ID applications for eligibility (EDL/EID).
• Collect licensing fees.
• Approve or deny enhanced applications and issue EDL/EID to eligible applicants.
• Assess customer qualifications (physical, medical, visual) for licensing issuance.
• Travel to other offices and training; overnight stays may be required.
• Conduct driver skills tests in applicants' vehicles to assess driving ability.
