Job summary

Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) in Everett seeks a Licensing Services Representative (LSR2) with strong customer service skills to join the Everett team. You will issue licenses, enhance licenses, and IDs, and conduct tests while upholding current policies and procedures in a structured, in-person environment.

Role involves thorough document verification, skillful data entry, and travel to other offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct customer service experience.
• One year of experience using electronic systems and form templates.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute or greater.

Responsibilities

• Verify authenticity of documents, evaluate information, and issue licenses/IDs in compliance with laws.
• Perform final review of Enhanced Driver License/ID applications to determine eligibility.
• Collect licensing fees.
• Approve or deny enhanced applications and issue EDL/EID to eligible applicants.
• Use sound judgement to assess customer qualifications for licensing issuance.
• Travel to other offices and training as needed.
