Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) invites applicants for the OPS Regulatory Specialist III role in the Miami area. The position supports licenses, permits, and registrations for alcoholic beverages and tobacco, handling complex eligibility work and maintaining compliance with statutes.

As an OPS employee, you will perform non-sworn regulatory tasks, communicate clearly with applicants, and work within a team to ensure timely licensure and accurate data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Review license applications for licenses, permits, and registrations.
• Correspond with applicants about omissions or deficiencies in applications.
• Process routine and complex applications per policy and statutes.
• Independently determine eligibility for licensure and approve/deny accordingly.
• Communicate with supervisor on denial decisions and next steps.
• Update systems and logs accurately for licensure activities.
• Provide accurate guidance on licensure requirements to customers.
