Qualifications

• Must have two (2) years of customer service experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate in complex administrative law matters.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for licenses, permits, and registrations to ensure the applicants, premises, and locations are qualified for licensure.
• Corresponding and communicating with applicants regarding omissions or deficiencies in license applications.
• Processing routine and complex applications based upon department policy, Florida Administrative Code, or Florida Statutes.
• Independently evaluating qualifications and requirements to determine eligibility for licensure.
• Independently determining approval or denial of applications submitted for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Updating all necessary systems, logs, and other applicable data systems consistently and accurately.
• Providing excellent service, accurate information, and specific guidance to internal and external customers regarding licensure functions.
• Processing fee payments to ensure all monies received are deposited in the correct bank account accurately and timely, per established agency receipting procedures.
