Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a skilled nursing team. The RT will evaluate and treat residents with diverse respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses, work independently, and participate in interdisciplinary care.

Responsibilities include initiating therapies, documenting progress, performing bedside treatments, and providing quarterly in-services to nursing staff. Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed as RRT/CRT.
• licensed in the state of practice (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and perform respiratory therapies for residents with varied respiratory and non-respiratory conditions.
• Initiate therapies, document progress, maintain records, and operate equipment.
• Deliver bedside treatments and provide quarterly in-services to nursing staff.
• Attend IDT meetings and manage caseload with auditing and tracking.
• Provide tracheostomy care and manage airway clearance techniques as per policy.
