Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Millersville, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The role emphasizes geriatric care, independent evaluation, and treatment within the facility.

You will perform assessments, initiate therapies, maintain records, and participate in IDT meetings. The ideal candidate holds an AS/BS in Respiratory Therapy, is licensed as RRT or CRT, and is BLS certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• BLS certification in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
