Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) for the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station in Cordova, IL. The role trains candidates to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and to oversee bargaining unit operators and equipment operators.

Upon completion, candidates will be NRC‑licensed and ready to supervise licensed activities. The program includes classroom and on‑the‑job training, with opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• 1.5+ years in a role equivalent to Reactor Operator or Supervisor at a military reactor.
• Engineering degree or PE license with 1.5+ years in related roles may count toward qualification.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on‑the‑job components.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and department coverage as directed.
