Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station in Cordova, IL. The program trains candidates to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and to coordinate outage activities.

Upon completion, trainees will be licensed by the NRC and prepared to supervise operations. The role includes classroom and on-the-job training, with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED (not applicable)
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility
• 1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator (or Supervisor) at a military reactor
• Degree from a 4-year program or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences, or professional engineer license
• Current or previous SRO Instructor certification and 4 years experience at a comparable facility or 6 years experience at a non-comparable facility.

Responsabilités

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training
• Complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor
• Support outage activities and provide coverage as required by management
