Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Assistant Practice Manager to support daily operations on the practice floor, manage patient flow, and coordinate team activities. You will work with the Practice Manager and Optometrist to optimize exam flow, service delivery, and staff readiness in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and adherence to patient-centered service standards, with opportunities for growth and expanded responsibility over time.

Qualifications

• State licensure required to practice eye care services.
• Extensive dispensing experience is required for optical functions.
• Experience in optical or healthcare service environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily practice operations on the floor, patient flow, and service execution.
• Coordinate with the Practice Manager and Optometrist to sustain exam flow and staffing.
• Assist with onboarding, coaching, and training of team members as needed.
• Communicate priorities, standards, and daily focus areas to the team.
• Provide frontline leadership to ensure patient-centered service and timely follow-up.
• Participate in interviews and employee-related follow-up as requested.
