Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to inspire the team, support daily operations, and deliver exceptional patient care. You will drive service excellence, coordinate multiple practice functions, and contribute to meaningful business results on the floor daily.

You will partner with the Practice Manager and Optometrist to ensure smooth exam flow, patient handoffs, and readiness. A strong leader with communication and organizational skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Optical/healthcare/retail or comparable service experience required.
• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to learn across multiple practice positions to support patient care and operations.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and follow‑up skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, coaching others, or leading through influence without a formal title.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations, patient flow, team coordination, and service execution.
• Learn and support multiple practice functions (patient care coordination, optical sales, technician/clinical support, front desk ops).
• Assist with onboarding, coaching, and team development; participate in interviews as requested.
• Help ensure opening/closing routines, cleanliness, supplies, and preparation for patient care.
• Communicate daily priorities and expectations; reinforce patient‑centered service behaviors.
• Serve as practice point of contact in the Practice Manager’s absence when assigned.
