Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a proactive Practice Manager to lead a high-performing optical practice. You will inspire the team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results.

You will oversee patient flow, service standards, and operational priorities while partnering with the Optometrist and Field Leadership to ensure clinical alignment and growth. This role demands adaptability, strategic thinking, and strong people leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Business, hospitality, healthcare, optical, or management education preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Eyecare or optical practice leadership experience preferred.
• Optical technical knowledge or comparable healthcare, retail, or service leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow and staffing; manage scheduling and labor planning.
• Serve as primary on-site floor leader, guiding team alignment and patient care.
• Set clear expectations for staff and monitor daily priorities, roles and performance.
• Partner with Optometrist to support exam flow, service expectations and patient handoffs.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance and care standards.
• Support new hire development, training, and adoption of systems and technology.
