Job summary

Premise Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct care to employees and dependents in our Health Center. The schedule is PRN as needed with weekday hours, 7:30am-4:30pm, with no evenings or weekends.

You will perform a range of clinical tasks including phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, wound care, and patient care coordination using Epic EMR, under supervision of providers.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited program graduate or equivalent.
• Current LPN/LVN license in state of practice required.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational health or ED settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers.
• Documents medical tasks including medications, wound care, specimen collection.
• Maintains medical equipment and infection control procedures.
• Maintains accurate patient health records.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Oklahoma City, OK. The scheduled hours are PRN - as needed.

• Flexible PRN opportunity supporting two established employer health clinics in downtown Oklahoma City, offering weekday hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm) with no evenings or weekends.
• Join a close-knit, family-oriented team with a steady pace and the ability to make an immediate impact while providing primary care and chronic condition management using Epic EMR.
• Practice a wide variety of clinical skills including phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and patient care coordination while working alongside experienced providers in modern onsite clinics

What You'll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
