Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is hiring a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care for St. Jude's employees at our Memphis Health Center in Tennessee.

The role features a patient-care focused shift schedule with options for 12 PM–8 PM or 1 PM–9 PM and 32 or 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be licensed in their state, hold BLS certification, and have at least three years of ambulatory or emergency department experience.

Qualifications

• Currently Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care providers.
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within scope of practice.
• Perform and document medical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection per provider orders.
• Maintain equipment, ensure a clean, safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain patient health records with accurate, up-to-date information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to St. Jude's employees in our Health Center located in Memphis, TN.

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice.
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.
