Premise Health in Lake Buena Vista, FL is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care to client employees and dependents in our Health Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program.
• Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands-on training.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within scope of practice.
• Perform and document tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection per provider orders.
• Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean, safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date patient health records and documentation.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Rotating Schedule

• A Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• B Shift: 8:30 a.m. – 7:0 p.m.
• Weekend Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (required every 9 weeks)
• 40 Hour work week

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
