Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Health Center in Lee's Summit, MO.

You will provide direct patient care, take vitals, assist with procedures, and support multiple providers in a clinician–administrative hybrid role. You must be an NLN-accredited program graduate, hold an active LPN license for Missouri, and have a BLS certification with at least three years of ambulatory or occupational health experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program
• Current license as LPN in state of practice
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for health care providers required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in ambulatory/occupational health or ED setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of healthcare providers within scope of practice
• Perform and document medical tasks: medication administration, wound care, specimen collection per orders
• Maintain medical equipment and infection control procedures
• Keep patient health records accurate and up-to-date
• Take on additional duties as assigned

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Lee's Summit, MO.

You’ll support multiple providers across the clinic by rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing labs, assisting with EKGs and respiratory treatments, returning patient calls, processing faxes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule

• Full-time: 37 hours per week
• Monday: 7:00–11:00 AM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:00–5:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
