Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for client employees and dependents at the Health Center in Lee's Summit, MO. The role blends clinical and administrative tasks, with a daytime schedule and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing labs, assisting with EKGs and respiratory treatments, handling calls, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program; Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent.
• Currently licensed as LPN/LVN in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required.
• At least three years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory/occupational health/ED.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaborates with healthcare providers within scope of practice.
• Performs and documents tasks including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection per provider orders.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean, safe environment and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accuracy and currency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Lee's Summit, MO.

Schedule

• Full-time: 37 hours per week
• Monday: 7:00–11:00 AM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:00–5:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
