Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care for our client employees and dependents at Health Centers in Vance and Hoover, AL. This role offers a $500 sign-on bonus and a schedule that supports work-life balance with morning hours.

As part of the clinical team, you will perform medication administration, wound care, specimen collection, and charting under supervision. A strong foundation in ambulatory or occupational health settings is ideal.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited program; A.S. degree or equivalent.
• Currently licensed as a practical or vocational nurse in state of practice.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• At least 3 years of clinical LPN/LVN experience in ambulatory/occupational health/ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers under supervision.
• Perform medication administration, wound care, specimen collection per orders.
• Maintain equipment, safe environment, and infection control practices.
• Keep accurate patient health records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Centers located inVance and Hoover, AL.

The scheduled hours are:

• Monday: 5:30 AM-12:30 PM - Lab and clinical follow-up
• Tuesday: 5:30 AM-12:30 PM - Lab and clinical follow-up
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM-5:30 PM - Assisting a provider

Interested in full-time? Additional hours may be available on Thursdays from 7:30 AM-5:30 PM, assisting a provider

What You'll Do

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
