Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Ocala, FL Health Center. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with responsibilities across patient care, triage, vitals, phlebotomy, procedures, and front-desk support.

You will join a busy clinic, collaborating with multiple providers in a supportive team environment while handling 80% clinical and 20% administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Must possess active LPN/LVN license in state of practice.
• Graduate of NLN-accredited program with AS degree or equivalent.
• At least 3 years clinical experience in ambulatory, occupational health, or ED.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education

LPN License (State of Practice)

Associate's degree in Nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Ocala, FL.

The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday 8a-5p.

• Join a supportive, tight-knit team in a very busy clinic with the opportunity to work alongside multiple providers.
• 80% clinical / 20% administrative role with varied responsibilities including patient rooming, triage, vitals, phlebotomy, procedures, referrals, workqueues, and front-desk support.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting
