Job summary

Premise Health in Morristown, TN is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to care for client employees and their dependents at our Morristown Health Center. The LPN will perform direct patient care, administer medications, collect specimens, and support providers within scope of practice.

The ideal candidate has an NLN-accredited program completion, an active LPN license in TN, BLS certification, and at least three years of ambulatory or occupational health experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice.
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Morristown, TN. We are seeking an LPN with strong phlebotomy skills and a passion for patient care to join our team. The scheduled hours are Tuesday - Thursday, 7:30am-6:30pm and Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.

What You’ll Do
